Cruise Control
The Pirates jumped all over the Reds stud pitcher Aaron Harang tonight, scoring 6 runs on him and taking him out after only 4 innings. Jack Wilson just now added his 3rd hit of the game, and the Pirates 12th of the day. That was only half of the story of this game though, as Phil Dumatrait put together one of the Pirates best starts this year. Phil struck out 9 Reds as he cruised through 7 innings surrendering 1 unearned run. He threw 101 pitches and was removed because of that fact alone. Jason Bay and Xavier Nady added a home run a piece, although this game is not over yet. The Pirates are cruising towards a big win and a 25-28 record heading into a 4 game series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
